Production on the fourth season of the wildly popular gothic soap begins this fall

I saw this last night and got soo excited. Too bad im in the uk,have to wait ages for the dvd release..they better bring van back and get toby and adam out that mirror! Just Hope they dont write out any charactors or replace them with new actors.

OMG! OMG!! I’m freaking out right now! This news just made my friggin’ day! I just HOPE they fix this “Toby/Adam-Kevin/Bro” crap.Need to see Toby and Kevin together again.Also, for Toby to have a bit of an edge, cuz IMO he’s way to goody goody. But I’m pleased with the news of 10 episodes…AWESOME!!!
I just finished watching that last espisode of the third season, what an ending, cannot wait to see season 4. This show is the best Drama since Queer As Folk.
We said “MOAR, MOAR!” and they listened!
They still have time to tweak that script and listen to us so….
1. No more actor replacements dammit! “im busy” does not cut it for me, They get paid to go to Hawaii!? Make them sign in blood or something!
2. Van has to come back. No body was found and all we saw was a dream sequence. Van must come back as normal not a vampire, werewolf or anything like that!
3. Hotel Dante is to be rebuilt. We cant have the show without the house. Make it old and scary like season 1, its not a luxury holiday apartment!
4. Toby to re-grow his hair (no wigs) and to have full stubble. No dye job Charlie.
5. Grace to be evil again.
6. More witchcraft, spells, ghosts and supernatural mysteries.
7. More sexy lesbians.
8. No more Lair sex club scenes, they bore me. I want real man love, with tension, passion and heat.
9. More history of the island and Tresum. Bring back the 1800’s flashbacks!
10. 10 episodes is much better but half hour is too short!
11. More hot men to move to the island, the Dante must have more rooms…

I also agree 100% with Alchemy. I’m grateful that it is FINALLY BACK and LOVE that there will be 10 episodes BUT they need to be the 1-hour format, not 30 minutes. We’re really not gaining anything as Season Three had five 1-hour episodes. We won’t get nearly as much detail in a half-hour segment.
I may be in the minority but I do NOT want Toby and Kevin back together. I want Ambrosius and Kevin to stay together and Toby and Adam to stay together. I also want Van and Diana to get together and for there to be more cat-fights between Grace and Diana over this.
I agree about the Hotel Dante being rebuilt – or Grace acquiring another old spooky home. Take it back to Grand Turk instead of Hawaii. The atmosphere was MUCH better!
Which actors are already signed to come back? They MUST get everyone back from last season. No exceptions!
Finally, WHEN will they produce a CD???!!! Some of us don’t own Ipods!
I also agree with Alchemy…Van NEEDS to come back; I didn’t realize just how much I enjoyed her character since it was no longer around. Also, I LOVED Toby better all scruffy-looking…VERY SEXY!! And I have to agree with David…YES, it needs to be a full hour. But have to disagree as well. Toby and Kevin HAVE TO, HAVE TO get back together DAMN IT!! I can’t stand seeing Kev with Bro; it makes me sick! I just wanted Kevin to have left Bro dead on that bed when he tried that spell on him as he slept! What a disappointment. But, then again, that’s not Kevin. But I got to give it Bro for wanting to save Kev from evil Diana, as where Toby didn’t so much as twicked a muscle to help the supposedly love of his life…WTF!
I live in NYC and was reading HX magazine on Dante’s Cove and there are questions if Gregory Micheal be returning? Neither the Network nor Michael would confirm or deny? We may or may not see him as Kevin and that means their may not be a storyline. I think that half hour episodes are better they can focus on storylines and not so much sex. It seems as all the other shows have done well with half hour slots.
very very excited for another season! I wish it was ten hour long as well. I don’t get why they are not shooting more episodes it seems like it has a great fan base. Does anyone have any news on what actors are coming back? I have to agree with david that Adam and toby should be together. Jon Fleming is the hottest guy on the show and the best actor along with Tracey Scoggins. I hope those two are back!

I hope Gregory Michael returns. Kevin and Toby were the main couple of the series and to all of a sudden bring some other guy to play Kev and see him interact with Toby will be just too weird. Gregory Michael and Charlie David’s chemistry was unique. One thing was changing the actor who plays Adam, but Kevin…I’d be very hard for me to watch the 4th season if that happens.

Hopefully Greg Michael will return – along with Greg Lee, Tracy Scoggins, Charlie David, Jon Fleming and the rest of the fabulous cast. He [Greg Michael] is currently appearing in episodes of “Greek” as another gay character. I haven’t seen him on it yet but I missed the first episode and part of the second.
I realize that the two-year break since Season 3 made it necessary for many of the actors to find other work but I sincerely believe (and I say this as a former professional child actor) that when you create a part that you are uniquely associated with on TV, there should be a certain obligation to your fans to stay with the show for the duration. It is too disconcerting to have someone else step into the role. It was easy to accept Jon Fleming as Adam because the character had not been fully developed in the first season and John has the passion and vulnerability that Adam needs to have. However, the other actors who have stayed with the show through the succeeding seasons are now firmly established in our minds as those characters and I think they are doing their fans a tremendous disservice to not return in the role.
If they have to obtain other work in the interim, they should make sure they have clauses in their contracts that allow them to return to these roles once the show resumes production. Fans make or break you as an entertainer.
This show has the potential to be another “Dark Shadows” or “Star Trek” and has a tremendous, almost cult, following – not just because it is a romping good “guilty pleasure” but because of the tremendous impact it has made in showing that gay couples go through the same things as straight couples do. We’re not getting the gay stereotypes in this show you always see – hairdressers, decorators, etc. and we’re watching these characters develop – as individuals and as couples (which is why I want to see the Kevin/Ambrosius – Toby/ Adam relationships continue). I was with my first partner for eight years before we split up. Then I found my current partner and we’re celebrating our fifteenth anniversary this June and so even though Toby and Kevin started out in the show as a couple, it is more realistic to see that as they got to really know one another, they discovered (like many of us) that they were not ideally suited (there were plenty of hints about this in the first season) and Kevin realized that he and Ambrosius were much better matched (I don’t think anyone can doubt that for all his other “flaws,” Ambrosius DOES love Kevin and is completely devoted to him) as were Toby and Adam because they have a long history together.
Ok. I think I may get the prize for the longest-winded comment so I’ll just close and say whatever happens, I’m ready for Season FOUR!

The story is getting more and more exciting from season 1 to 3. hopefully it can also be much more sexier and unrated in Season4
I can totally see why Toby and Adam could become a couple, they also have good chemistry which is important. But I feel unconviced Bro and Kevin would really be together. Bro is obsessed with him so that side makes sense but why would Kevin willingly be with someone who stalked, cut, bewitched and hypnotized him?
I hope Greg Michael does return, I agree that removing or replacing the key character like that at this stage is not a good idea. Its funny when Van went I was surprised how much I missed her character. I think the Greg rumour comes from the fact hes in Greek now but I think the truth is they are waiting till so late in the year to start filming to fit in with Greek.

I’ve not heard anything about any of the primary actors not returning for the new season. I actually would be surprised if they didn’t. The way Dante’s Cove is shot, it only requires them to be on location for three to six weeks. That allows them all to pursue other projects, which they have done throughout each season.

Damn, I really miss this series. I fell in love with this series cause the Kevin and Toby relationship blew me away. All this sex and naked bodies and the only time I really get excited is when the two of them are on screen. They are amazing. They are the white version of the Noah’s Arc “Wade and Noah” characters. The teenage guys need to see this. They need to see the difference between lust and love. and the importantance of finding a true connection. I also like the best friend love triangle. I dont think I liked it when they turned the straight character gay. I think he lost his edge.. We need to see straight and gays interacting. I know this is fantasy Island for gays and lesbians, but I think part of our fantasy is to have gays and straight co-exist. Please bring back another tolerant “Straight Character”. Or do the “Kiss the bride” rountine with Jon Flemings character and he can fall in love with a girl. and Kevin and Toby can get back together. I love the black “bi-sexual” character on the show. welll really i just missed wade…But why did you make him a hoe. Bi-sexuals dont just sleep with anybody. They tend to fall in love with the soul of a person. Jon flemings character acts more like a bi-sexual. to me…being that i’m bi-sexual and black..You need to have someone else write for his character. Come on writers I know you are smarter than this. Oh I also agree with alchemy bring him in to help write for the show…that dude knows!!!!!!!! The only thing he didnt say but I know he would have…Is there needs to be more sexual tension…People drop their draws too damn quick…We need some build up…You can show nudity with the actors by having them alone and naked and tease us until the two characters finally decide to “do it”.
I must agree there with you, Julian. I mean, Adam was never my fave character (still isn’t, but I feel sorry for him), but after Jon Flemings came into the mix, it made me look twice and wonder: Hmmm…what if this is just a straight guy who happens to have feelings for his long time best friend, who happens to be another guy? Does this make him gay? Come on, it’s hard to not love Toby.
The fact that this was a show where people of different sexual orientation interacted without having to deal with the typical every day prejudices (with the exception of Kevin’s parents) was, and still is, what attracted me to it…and the fact that the main couple of the show (Kev and Toby) had one the best chemistry since Brian and Justin in QAF…and the sex was HOT! LOL
Thanks Julian, if only! Yeah Griffin was a great new addition to the show. Not only is he hot but the bisexual aspect of the character made for some interesting love interests. Yeah he was a bit slutty but I think it was more to do with him being a warlock/wizard. I mean Bro is similar so maybe it was to do with that.
Yeah sexual tension needs to be turned up, less is more. The official website is still not up. I want to see some pics, or some hints as to what they are planning…

Great news! Although, I read a recent interview with Gregory Michael, who does not seem too keen about coming back to the Cove now that he’s on “Greek”. The show would not be the same without Kevin. Let’s all let the show’s producers (and the Here! honchos) know, that GREGORY MICHAEL MUST BE PART OF SEASON 4! I, for one, want to see him ultimately wind up with Toby. However, if, along the way, he should happen to hook-up with Griff (luscious JENSEN ATWOOD), that would be EXCELLENT!! (Oh, yeah, JENSEN ATWOOD has to come back, too. And JON FLEMING. Yes, yes yes! Extremely hot and the best actor on the show.) That said, Season 3 was a bit overcrowded with new characters. The only worthwhile addition to last season was Griff. (Oh, yeah! JENSEN JENSEN JENSEN!!) But overall, too many unnecessary characters and too much stunt casting (enough with the models already.)

At the end of season 3 when Kevin was all happy with Toby…I was thinking that he cast another spell on Kevin, which would explain why he changed his mind about him, because let’s face it, if you hated someone and you were in the same situation as him (minus the whole supernatural thing) would you honestly be in love with your enemy? I mean really
As far as the whole Grace thing, at first I was quite alarmed that she was actually being good and then I decided I liked the side of her, but she’s just too evil to be good.
The whole Adam thing was foreshadowed in the beginning and I actually felt bad for him (definitely think that Mr.Flemming was a good actor to portray this character) the only thing I don’t like is that whenever he got a high off the saint (Starflower, excuse me Grace
) he looked more zombie-like than actually high…
Anyways..
I think this is an excellent series and I really hope that in the end our demands/fantasies (whichever you prefer) are met

Looks like the official Dantes Cove site is back up (Not much new yet) but im a little confused. The new slogan is ‘Coming back 4 More’ which is in flames with characters faces in parts of the number 4. I can See Grace, Griffin, Toby, Bro, Brit, Adam, a face below Brit I cant work out and Diana?
Unless Kevin is the face under Brit, is he not returning? Also how is Diana in it when she was sucked into the shadow box or something at the end of the last episode? Confused…

I agree with Leon. When I saw the end of season 3, and Kevin was actually happy with Bro, I thought, this is not possible. I mean, if the same situation would happen in reality (minus the supernatural), I would say Kevin is with Bro because he’s sad that he lost Toby to Adam. Also, how he handled the situation between Adam and Toby…. I would have been a lot more angry and would have made a point of telling Toby he should have waited a bit more before falling for another guy. C’mon Kevin accepted going with Bro only to save Toby, and that’s the way he repays him?? And sure, he pretended to be happy, but it was also just to fool Bro and go back to Toby, and still Toby doesn’t care about all those sacrifices? And what with the “visits” he made to Toby? Even if Toby thought those were dreams, he should have at least thought that he was not sure about his feelings for Adam.
Anyway, I think they should be together again. Also because those two have the hotter sex ever. If you compare their scenes to those anonymous extras having semi-pornographic sex in the Lair club, they are hotter because their passion comes from caring from each other. Like the time when Kevin tells he’s never bottomed and asks Toby to be the first. That in my book is true love. So what makes this show great is that kind of intimacy in the sex scenes. Not just the naked hot bodies (although I don’t complain about those), still the hottest sex is between leading characters, because then it’s meaningful and more passionate.
I have to say though, I like Grace being goodish. I mean, she will never be really good (how she fooled Griff by changing the medallions was great!) ’cause she’s a diva, but she has no reason to be really evil (as in trying to rule over the world or something). So I think it’s more credible to see her as a goodish, as long as she’s short tempered and resorting to her old dirty tricks. Grace Neville is no one’s servant!!
I also am really scared that Gregory Michael doesn’t come back now that he’s doing Greek. I mean, probably the people at ABC would have a problem with him doing nudes in another series… But you cannot just write Kevin off the show as they did with Van and replacing the actor would be really hard, because Gregory Michael has just great chemistry with Charlie David, they really seemed in love in the first 2 seasons.
Oh, and Van has to come back. Diana too. The problem is that Grace said she had died during one of her visions. But I hope the writers can work their way around that tiny little detail. Diana is easier. If the shadows escaped once from the box, they can do it again, or at least Diana being a experienced witch and all, can find a way to do it.
Anyway, I really, really, really hope to see the next season soon!!
I AGREE A 200% WITH YOU, CARLOS!! Toby moving on with Adam after he in the beginning had said that he thought of Adam as a brother, and being in love with Kevin…WTF?! I just couldn’t believe Toby’s words to Kev about Adam making him a better man; my stomach just dropped right there. That was like an insult! And after everything Kevin did to try and get back to Toby, only to end up saying that he was right where he belonged…with Bro?! Is just all too FRUSTRATING!! I am just as nervous about whether or not Gregory Michael and Charlie David will be returning! I HOPE THEY DO!!

I have been a fan of Dante’s Cove. We do not get airing of US Television Channels and hence no access to Dante’s Cove directly to my TV. I download them via Utorrent. The characters and the story is good. It satisfies my childhood and adulthood fantasies together. What else you want in a show???
I wish Diana shouldn’t have vanished and her plot was twisted to the extent that I dint like it. Thea Gill is gracefull in appearence and hence she shouldnt have been made to act like a lunatic. Some how it dint convince me that the intention of Diana to allow Van to have Michelle back, and a sudden twist to that good intention turned in to a darker plot, making a gracefull and good witch in to something like selfish, uncontroled lunatic. Some how difficult to accept it. I thought, Diana will soar above Amrosius and Grace because of her good attitude.
Any way, waiting for the 4th season to air and waiting for some one to upload the video for me in u torrent.
