So Ricky Martin is gay. This is as about as shocking as saying the ocean is made up of water. Everyone is abuzz since Ricky posted a message on his Web site officially coming out to the world. But as with many a celebrity before him, there is no shock associated with it.

I knew it from the moment I first saw him on General Hospital. Barbara Walters knew it too and pressed him on it, yet later regretted doing so. So today is his day and his moment and I say good for him.
