Stuck Between Brad and CT

Okay, admit it guys! Who would not want to have their way with one of these big, strong, fine specimens of man? Who would you choose? Hell, why choose! In some situations three is not a crowd, and this is one of those rare occurrences. CT and his huge hairy body (though he’s shaved here) and Brad with that puppy dog smile and his sizable endowment, which he bluntly told his roommates on ‘The Real World’ he possesses… ah one can only dream…

N.B. Though I think TC is still hot, he has proven to be a real ass over the years. Give me his body, but you can keep his personality.

Travel Weary

Okay, I am a homebody and prefer to stay home rather than go on vacation. In my adult life I have only been to Charleston SC, Pittsburgh PA and New York City (to buy a cake – long trip and long story) once. We traveled a lot when I was young and I hated it and would cry and fuss and make everyone miserable until we went home. Although we visited New England and the Midatlantic states, it’s interesting that my family’s regular vacation spot was Rehoboth Beach and now it is a gay resort! In my teens I did start to enjoy it (maybe I started sensing the gay vibe), but we moved on further south right about the time that it started to become a gay hot spot. We settled in Charleston and its barrier islands for vacations. The area is absolutely gorgeous and I adored it. But since I don’t travel much, I haven’t been there in a very long time.

Something I would love to do sometime would be to have an ‘Amazing Race’ kind of vacation. Not be in a race but to travel exotic places and do all of the thrill-seeking kind of adventures they make the teams do on ‘The Amazing Race.’ But my ultimate dream vacation would take me on a mystical tour of England to visit sites related to Avalon and Arthurian legend. I want to see the remains of Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, the Tor of Glastonbury and Stonehenge. I would love to spend extended time in the Highlands of Scotland as I feel particularly drawn to that area of the world. I’ve actually had the fantasy of a dream wedding taking place at the stone circle in the Orkney Isles.

The Party, The Girl and the iPod

We all had to go to someone else’s house for something related to a family wedding; I reluctantly went because I was needed; mom drove but it was through a maze of waterways. Once there I said, “So this means I can’t wait in the car until you’re done?” and she said no. So I went in with her. She disappeared with the others somewhere in the house and left me in a living room filled with strangers… all straight men older and younger than me. I could see my much older brother in the kitchen cooking with what were the other older folks totally ignoring me and I was feeling left out. I had never felt so out of place.

Then a little girl came over to me and pulled on my finger asking if wanted to come and listen to her iPod. She took me to a sort of playroom that overlooked everything that was going on. I sat sideways in a chair with my legs up over the arms and felt more comfortable and she handed me her iPod and some of her favorite books and when I looked up she had gone. Everyone was going for food and Mom and I caught eyes with a gaze that inquired if I was ready to go – like you have to ask? So we made our way to the door to leave. I set the books aside but the iPod remained in one hand while I fiddled with a gay pride key ring in the other, being careful to keep the rainbow from view. I could see the little girl again off behind all the people picking up the books smiling at me as I left.
